Client rights and grievances
You have rights as a client. If something isn’t right, we want to hear about it.
Your rights
As a client of a provider certified by the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health, your rights include being:
- Treated with consideration and respect for your dignity, autonomy and privacy
- Told about the services available to you and involved in planning your care
- Able to give informed consent to, or refuse, services
- Protected from abuse, neglect and discrimination
- Assured that your information is kept confidential, as the law requires
- Able to file a grievance without fear of retaliation
You can ask for a free copy of PeerHive’s full client rights and grievance procedure at any time.
